6-1-21   THOUGHTS

I must share my heart as I worshiped with you on Sunday morning.  Thank you Lord for the US idea of the CHURCH!  We together in song, and prayer, and God’s Word, and COMMUNION at the LORD’S TABLE,  simply WORSHIPED GOD!   Our being together again for the first time (at least in this way) for over a year was most powerful in my soul.  My heart was overwhelmed!  The love and fellowship of brothers and sisters, especially in worship, is powerfully stirring.  It’s God’s design and plan for His created man.  We encourage and build each other up, as we EXALT our CREATOR!

This is so right!  So some passages this morning to frame these thoughts.
Acts 20:28     "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
1Cor 1:9-10    God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 10  Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.
2Cor 7:1-5   Now, brethren, we wish to make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia, 2  that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality. 3  For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord, 4  begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints, 5  and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.
Php 2:1-5   Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2  make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3  Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4  do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5  Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
1John 1:3   what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
How precious is His DESIGN, how OVERJOYED is my heart!  
Heb 12:1    Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

My Prayer:
Accept our love and our praise O Mighty God.  From your bountiful blessings to us, may we bless each other and may we feed the world around us with the story of Jesus.  Let love reign O Lord.
